Indexing
To be recognized as an authoritative, quality source of information, a journal should be widely available. Indexing and abstracting services facilitate the broadest dissemination of information by pointing researchers to articles that are relevant within their field. When a journal is launched and has established a history of timely publication and solid content, it is then appropriate to contact indexing and abstracting services to request that they consider the title within their indexation/abstracting service.
The decision to include a journal is based on numerous indicators; publication of quality content, healthy submission rate and timely publication are some of these factors.
